Connection problems last few days

I have had issues over the last several days where everything is working then suddenly I can't connect to anything on the Internet for 15 minutes to an hour or more. I could not connect to anything this morning from about 8am till noon (I work evenings).

I have had issues for a few months now with speed and dropped connections during downloads but it has mostly worked. I have called and sent e-mail several times over the last few months but no one seems to respond anymore. Aaron used to call ya right back. But I do get a reminder e-mail if I pay the bill late.

I have had service for a year now and was verry happy up until recently. Not sure what went wrong.

Re: Connection problems last few days

I have been with thunderbird since the beginning, and have had connection issues in the past. Yes you will get a bill, but like me may be surprised if they credit you for outages due to their network failures. If the issue is their's, they are very fair, and have provided credits in the past for issues related to their network, but if they are having issues beyond their control we really need to give them a break. I have tested my connection to the tower, and the response times are very good, in fact normal, so this issue doesn’t seem related to their network on my end. Besides wireless networks like this are still an art, and not a sience.

If they’re having an issue with their provider, just like us he should get a break for outages, but I suspect he will not, and if he doesn't he may not have anything to pass along to us. So, maybe he won't be able to give us a credit for any issues they (thunderbirds provider) cause, thunderbird has always been fair in the past, and knowing him personally I know he will be fair in the future.

Give them time they will get things sorted out, I know you need your fix right now, but like me you can find other things to occupy your time. Mine is sleep, since I just had mouth surgery, and these darn pain killers are knocking me for a loop.

Re: Connection problems last few days

just checked my speed on speedtest.net, my upload speead was 47 kbps.  That's slower than dial up.  and ive been having problems for over a week now and no customer service response.  no phone calls back to explain, no emails, and i haven't seen the thunderbird van down the street.

And to be frank, i'm sick and tired of excuses, there was no mention of these problems when they advertise to get customers.  I'll be patient and wait for now, but im a bit jaded with this company.  Who runs a business like that; One where you have a lot of upset customers?  I think this only happens when a business is in trouble and is about to go under.  What do you think?
