Paradise Complete

Now that we have Thunderbird BB, the last piece of the puzzle is in place.  Sheri and I both work from home and need a reliable and fast connection. Now we can live and work where we want.  No DSL or Cable is available.   Dail-up was, well.......dial-up.  Satelite was $800 to install and another $80 per month for a slower than DSL connection that worked OK, that is unless a cloud drifted by, or it rained.  Plus the latency on the round trip to the Sat and back created chaos with VPN or VOIP.

Enter Thunderbird Broadband!   Aaron, Ben and the guys are by far the most customer service priority business I have EVER dealt with.  As with any new technology install, there were a few bugs, but these guys were on it immediately.  Friendly, smart, available and local.  There's nothing quite like talking tot a human on the phone.  Our speeds are absolutly everything that they claim, which is unbelievable!  It's like walking into a room and turning on a light switch to the internet.  At first I could not believe how fast I was able to download music and movies to my I-Tunes data base.  Picture and even video files are like opening WORD doc's. The heavy snows and winds this last year did not affect our signal one iota.  When the power went out for 5 days, we just fired up the generator and stayed in business.  The cost is so reasonable over Sat. that it will pay for itself in 5 months.  Well, the extra shopping that Sheri now does on the internet might cancel that out.

Anyway, I couldn't be more pleased with the product or the service or the price.

Hunter.

Re: Paradise Complete

Thanks Hunter,

I am glad you are enjoying the connection and don't think that I forgot about that fishing trip! :-)

Say Hi to Sheri and your neapolitan gang of labradors for me
